Information We Collect
We collect your name and email address when you create an account, either directly or via Google/Apple sign-in. We store the games you create or join, the scores you enter, and your device's push notification token if you enable notifications.
How We Use Information
Your information is used to operate ScoreMate — authenticating you, tracking game scores, and delivering notifications about games you participate in. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
The ScoreMate mobile app is free, supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and other technical information to show and measure ads. On iOS, we ask permission before this data can be used to personalize ads — declining still shows ads, just not personalized ones. You can review or reset your device's ad preferences in your phone's system settings. Google's own use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Other Players
Your name is visible to other members of any game you join. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Data Retention
Games that have had no activity for 90 days are automatically deleted. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app — this immediately removes your personal information.
Your Rights
You can edit your profile, change your password, log out of all devices, or permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.
